several ways that you can end up with a yeast infection

several ways that you can end up with a yeast infection.

People have the wrong idea that yeast infections are always caused by women not taking good care of their personal
hygiene. While that is one of the ways that yeast infections occur, there are many other ways.
If you suffer from recurrent thrush infections, try not to wear panty liners, which can irritate your skin and create yeast infections. Try to stick with cotton fiber underwear, as this can provide the most comfortable feeling possible and help to limit the amount of moisture that you have in your area.
Be careful of the products that come into contact with your vagina. Feminine sprays, bubble baths, and scented soaps can all irritate the area inside the vagina and increase the chance of a yeast infection. Anything that is scented or dyed should not come into contact with the vagina.
Acidophilis is great for yeast infections. It is a live culture found in a lot of yogurts can slow down or stop the infection. If you have to eat yogurt to get this culture, eat the sugar-free kind. Sugar can be counter-active to the culture's job performance because it feeds the infection.
When you are wearing something, you are sweating a lot in or getting a lot of water in, like gym clothes or a bathing suit, it is important to change your clothing immediately. Wearing these clothes just allows moisture to hang around your genital area, welcoming all kinds of infections to form.
Stay away from scented feminine hygiene products. The chemicals used to create those pleasing scents can alter your body's natural pH. This creates an environment that is perfect for a colony of yeast to develop. Bypass the scented pads and tampons and opt for all natural products, free from chemical scents and dyes.
When searching for a bit of a reprieve from the pain and itching, you may find apple cider vinegar to be incredibly effective. By pouring a cup of this vinegar into your bath water before taking a soak, you can achieve a surprising level of soothing relief.
If you have a history of thrush, fight them by adding probiotics to your diet. Acidophilus, the common bacteria in most yogurt, is a beneficial culture that helps to balance the bacteria within the body, staving off yeast infections. Probiotics are also available in the form of a pill or powder.
Stop taking your birth control pills until it passes. The birth control pills will weaken your immune system and actually prevent your body from fighting it off. So try using alternative forms of contraception like condoms.
Get out of your sweaty workout clothes as soon as possible. Sweaty workout clothes cause the body to be exposed to a damp environment. When such an environment is present in the vaginal area, the result can be a painful and uncomfortable infection. Bring a change of clothes to the gym, and change as soon as you are able to.
Before trying a home remedy, check with your doctor to be certain that what you have is actually a yeast infection. There are other conditions, such as trichomonas and bacterial vaginosis, that appear similar, yet require medication to cure.
Try using an over-the-counter antifungal cream. You can find these at your local grocery store or drug store. They are available under different names like Vagisil and Monistat. Apply the cream as directed to the affected area to help soothe and treat the symptoms.
Now that you have read about several ways that you can end up with a yeast infection, hopefully you are much more careful in the future. While it is fairly easy to treat, they are not something that you should have to deal with on a regular basis.

how can i lose weight

HOW TO LOSE WEIGHT

Have you ever wished to have a sexy body like a supermodel? I am probably asking an odd question: who does

not? However, the fact that nowadays people are getting fatter and fatter makes that dream seem to be
unrealizable. How can a fatty person with plump cheeks and a big belly like a pregnant woman look standardly beautiful
or handsome? Fortunately, there are still some ways to make you slimmer and more attractive. That is losing
weight. All you have to do is following these steps below.

The first step to slim down is doing more exercises. You may be afraid as taking this step, but physical exercises work very well in decreasing pounds, especially through sports: swimming, cycling and weight-lifting.
Firstly, swimming is a good sport for those who not only want to have weight loss but also need to improve their
challenged height. Swimming about one to two hours at weekends is enough. Remember to divide the exercise
into small parts for the first few times because your body may not be familiar with long practice yet. Secondly, if
you can add cycling to your exercise schedule, it will help a lot. By going cycling, you can both easily spend your energy, contemplate beautiful scenes and enjoy fresh air on the very cool mornings. Cycling about five to ten
kilometers a day is very helpful. Finally, if you can, you should do weight-lifting because this sport is the best
and fastest way to burn fat. However, it may be dangerous if you do it the wrong way or so seriously. Therefore,
you need to consider your health status and do the sport carefully. As you see, physical exercises are a very effective way to lose weight and, according to many scientists, to have a beautiful skin.

Doing exercises only is not enough because you only lose weight when the energy you take in is lower than the
one you spend. Thus, going on a diet is the second step. What you should do first is avoid food with fat and
sugar. For example, instead of having an afternoon coke, drink a glass of water, or instead of eating a
hamburger, try rice with a small amount of meat. Next, because you do exercises everyday, you need energy to work out. So try to eat protein food and drink a lot of water. Remember not to eat too much.

what are the prevention of hiv

Acquired Immune deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a disease caused by Human Immune deficiency Virus (HIV).
AIDS  is a major concern in both developed and developing countries. The World Health Organization estimates that the cumulative number of AIDS cases in the world amounted to 2.5 million persons. AIDS, the Acquired Immune deficiency Syndrome is not a hereditary disease but is caused by HIV (Human Immune deficiency Virus).
HIV from an infected person can pass to a normal person through blood contact generally during unprotected sex with infected persons and sharing needles or syringes contaminated with small quantities of blood from HIV positive person.
HIV can also pass from infected mothers to their
babies during pregnancy, delivery or breast feeding. HIV does not spread through tears, sweat, urine, faces or saliva during Normal kissing. It does not spread by sharing utensils, towels, clothing, and toilet seats or insects bite like that of mosquito or bed bug.
AIDS was discovered in 1983. Most evidence has suggested that AIDS spread from Africa. It is believed that the virus has been transferred to humans from primates like Africa monkey or Chimpanzees.
HIV/AIDS spread through sex and genetics, some we can't help like with genetics until our doctors figure out a way to remove it. But we can do something to stop the spread of HIV/AIDS with SELF-CONTROL.

For example, in one scenario a girl is raped and gets this sexual disease, to prevent that from  happening is dress better, cover more and walk in groups. Another thing  is have no sex before marriage, because having sex with many people are a high leading way for people to have this transmitted disease, too much sex causes genital problems which can deteriorate into even more serious issues.

You won't wear a condom every time especially when it is a girl you love strongly and the passion is deep. This way it is safer and more guaranteed.you also consider good moral conduct and modesty.

Another thing people can do is always have a medical check up of themself or ask for their medical records. you don't want to get it because you simply thought it was rude.

All these solutions i stated for certain scenario can stop the spread of HIV/AID from those who have it or don't have it. So what if you have it through genetics? Unfortunately science has not come up with the answer yet, I only pray to God soon we do have the knowledge. What we can do is support our medical fields with donations and let our government  put more money into studying this epidemic so it can be removed one day at the genetic level, this won't happen over night but if we can make an effort it will come to fulfilment.Bless you.

donation blood

Giving blood is important not just one time, but on a regular basis.   If one waits until
there is a tragedy or request, it may be too late.   The demand for blood does not have a
day off or get a break on the weekend.   The need for blood does not decline during the
summer when school is out or on holidays when people are celebrating.   The demand is
constant and sometimes critical.   Although the demand for blood may slow down for an
hour, a day, or a week, there is always a need, thus a need for regular donations.
Giving blood on a regular basis is necessary to help meet the need, because the
need is always there.     Natural disasters and accidents cannot be foreseen, so being
prepared and giving blood regularly is a way to help the area hospitals stay prepared
when these calamities do occur.
There are also benefits of giving blood regularly.   Regular donations aid in
decreasing iron in the body which leads to decrease of free radicals in the body,
something that may be involved in and possibly cause degenerative diseases.  Regular donation of blood helps to decrease the incidence of heart disease.
Each time a person gives blood, they get a free blood pressure check, diabetes check,
glucose, pulse, hemoglobin check, as well as being checked for communicable diseases.
All of these are free and a person is basically getting a free health check up each time
they donate blood.
Giving blood is not only beneficial to you physically, it is rewarding mentally and
spiritually.   Being a regular donor makes you feel a sense of accomplishment.   Although
you never now who will be getting your blood, you know that it will be someone
who needs it.   A person does not have to be wealthy to give blood, just willing.
There is also the fact that the blood a person gives may be the blood that saves...
I want to talk to you about the importance of donating blood. Some of you may know a friend or even a family member who has received blood at some time. I for one have received blood and I often wonder who took the time to donate it.
According to health expert, it is noted that just 1 pint of blood can save three lives.

The only way to meet demand is to have regular donations from healthy volunteers.
If you are healthy, your body-which has between 10 and 12 pints of blood-can easily spare about a pint, the amount that is collected at a donation. Because the body begins replacing donated blood immediately, most people can give blood every eight weeks.

how to treat ulcer

An ulcer is a sore that is hollow and may appear like a crater. Ulcers are usually found in the digestive system where they are known as peptic ulcers. Often, ulcers may be present in the lower part of the digestive system or in the waste disposal system. When it comes to an ulcer diet, one is usually speaking of peptic ulcers as these are the ulcers that are directly affected by changes in an individual’s diet pattern. A peptic ulcer can occur in esophagus, the stomach or the duodenum.
An individual suffering from ulceration of the digestive system must follow an ulcer diet. This type of diet is designed to make sure that the stress on the digestive system is minimal. The first step towards an ulcer diet is to ensure that the food being consumed does not promote acidity in the stomach. Acidity leads to pain and can worsen the condition as it can damage the already fragile lining of the digestive system. Caffeine, spicy foods, alcohol and chocolates should be avoided as they promote stomach acidity. Citrus juices and other acidic foods should also be avoided. Before going any further, it is important to remember that any diet for duodenal ulcer patients of  that suffer from any kind of ulcer is primarily aimed at easing the excessive pain that an individual is going to bear. it is important to remember that the larger the quantity of food consumed, the more stomach acids are required to aid in the digestive process. As a result, one of the first rules of any good diet for ulcer patients will require the individual to cut down on the amount of food consumed. Another important aspect of any of the best diets for ulcer patients is to make a conscious decision to avoid consumption of foods that are spicy in nature because of the fact that they are known to aggravate the symptoms of the condition rather excessively. Alcohol and caffeine are known to be foods that will cause ulcers to become more painful because of the fact that they increase the acidity of the stomach. Seafood, especially varieties of fish, contain large amount of Omega – 3 fatty acids that are known to help reduce the risk of suffering from ulcers because of their ability to increase the production of prostaglandins in the body. These prostaglandins play an important role in protecting the entire lining of the digestive passage.

Fatty foods and heavy meals are difficult to digest at the best of times, and these must be eliminated at this stage. A good diet for ulcers will include foods like breads, cereals and rice based products. Fresh fruits and fresh vegetables are always good for the digestive system. The vegetables can be steamed or lightly cooked with minimal spices so that they are easy to digest. Milk and dairy products should be replaced with low fat options. Meals should also be consumed regularly to ensure that acid levels do not build up in the digestive system.
Dealing with ulcers also means you are going to have to readjust your consumption significantly. For instance, fasting is something you definitely want to consider when dealing with stomach ulcers. However, the fast will not be effective if it is performed just for a couple of days, but will need to be considerably longer - at a minimum of about 14 days of juice fasting. Fasting is one of the best methods of treatment because of the fact that the damaged lining of the stomach is not exposed to the caustic acids of digestion. A fast of lime juice is considered to be one of the best and most effective home remedies because the citric acid along with the minerals present will help considerably with digestion. Another very effective treatment option when dealing with ulcers is having bananas with a glass of milk. The bananas will help neutralize the acidity of the gastric juices and thereby reduce the irritation to the ulcer.

how to live long

Living a healthy lifestyle is certainly not easy. A healthy lifestyle is defined by three different categories: physical, mental/emotional and spiritual. In order to live a truly healthy lifestyle, you must balance all three categories and they must all function together simultaneously.
In order to live a physically healthy lifestyle, you must learn how to balance your every day life. Doing a minimum of thirty minutes of cardiovascular activity for just three days a week, can do a myriad number of positive things for your body. Not only can physical activity extend your years of life, but it can also reduce the likelihood of getting many health related problems. Exercising is not the only important feature of being physically healthy, though.

A healthy diet is key. The food pyramid is there for a reason! Statistically, Nigeria has a very high mortality rate due to obesity. Portioning your food correctly can do wonders! Along with exercise and a healthy diet, sleep is also very important! A healthy range of hours of sleep is between 7-9 hours. Once you’ve reached a state of balance, you will already feel that much better physically, and even mentally.
Having significant others and people that care about you is needed to have a healthy lifestyle. Whether you have a best friend, spouse, significant other or children, having people you can share your life with will always assist you on the road to a healthy lifestyle. A functional relationship with at least one other human being will get you through confusing, problematic situations and hard times. At the same time, having that man or woman by your side during the fun, fantastic and great events will be nothing but spectacular. You need and want a relationship with a person you can call your spouse, family member or friend.

Your religion, relationships and morals all have an effect on your spiritual healthy lifestyle. What you practice for religion has an effect on how you live.

DANGERS OF SMOKING,YOU MAY DIE YOUNG IF YOU SMOKE!

There are many dangers of smoking to the body, to the immediate family, to the society, to the environment and to the economy.

Once a cigarette reaches a temperature of nearly 2,000 degrees . This high heat helps release thousands of chemical compounds, including poisons like carbon monoxide and hydrogen cyanide, at least 43 carcinogens, and numerous mutagens. All of these are drawn into the body when a smoker inhales.

One of the main dangers of smoking is due to Nicotine. Nicotine is found naturally in tobacco. It has no odor and no color. It is, however, both physically and psychologically addictive.

Nicotine enters the body as tiny droplets resting on particles of tar in cigarette smoke. Inhaled into the lungs, the drug passes quickly into the bloodstream, reaching the brain within about 30 seconds. In another 40 to 50 seconds the nicotine has spread to all parts of the body.

The nicotine raises both the heart rate and blood pressure. The smoker quickly feels more alert and relaxed. In less than 30 minutes, however, about half of the nicotine has left the bloodstream, and the smoker starts feeling less alert, more edgy.

One more of the dangers of smoking are Carbon monoxide. Smoking also increases the level of carbon monoxide in the lungs. This poisonous gas is quickly absorbed into the blood, reducing its capacity to carry oxygen.

As a result, the smoker has to exert more physical effort to attain a given task than does a nonsmoker. The heart in particular must work harder, particularly during rigorous exercise.

Smoking is the one of the main cause of death every year. Smoking cause number of smoke related diseases such as lung cancer, respiratory problems and heart ailments and these dangers of smoking are increasing yearly.

Research has shown that smoking reduces life expectancy by seven to eight years.Of the 300 people who die every day in the UK as a result of smoking, many are comparatively young smokers.
The number of people under the age of 70 who die from smoking-related diseases exceeds the total figure for deaths caused by breast cancer, AIDS, traffic accidents and drug addiction.

Cardiovascular disease

Cardiovascular disease is the main cause of death due to smoking.
Hardening of the arteries is a process that develops over years, when cholesterol and other fats deposit in the arteries, leaving them narrow, blocked or rigid. When the arteries narrow  blood clots are likely to form.
Smoking accelerates the hardening and narrowing process in your arteries: it starts earlier and blood clots are two to four times more likely.
COPD
Cardiovasular disease can take many forms depending on which blood vessels are involved, and all of them are more common in people who smoke
Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a collective term for a group of conditions that block airflow and make breathing more difficult, such as:

  • Smoking is the most common cause of COPD and is responsible for 80 per cent of cases.emphysema – breathlessness caused by damage to the air sacs (alveoli)
  • chronic bronchitis – coughing with a lot of mucus that continues for at least three months.
It's estimated that 94 per cent of 20-a-day smokers have some emphysema when the lungs are examined after death, while more than 90 per cent of non-smokers have little or none.

BENEFIT OF SMOKING TOBACCO

So we all know and  aware of the effects of smoking. In fact, governments are working hard to reduce the amount of places where you can smoke. That still doesn't mean there aren't advantages to lighting up Cigarette once in a while.
In fact, science  shows that short-term exposure to cigarette smoke can have health benefits. From mental stimulation to physical transformation, smokers themselves are aware of a lot of these lesser-known impacts of tobacco.
Millions try for years to quit smoking, and for many it is just not an option. With workplace stress or physical dependency, it’s difficult for the majority of smokers to give it up. For those who have tried and failed to quit the habit, let these scientific words of encouragement ease your pain.
Here are just a few of these unknown benefits of smoking cigarettes based on recent scientific studies.

1. Weight loss
Perhaps more obvious to many, tobacco overcome the body’s appetite and overall desire to eat for brief periods of time. For those who are excessively overweight and for those who battle over-eating disorders, tobacco has proven to show that there are direct benefits to smoking cigarettes.
2. Relaxation
One of the main reasons people take up or continue smoking cigarettes is because it relaxes them during stressful periods. Although people have suggested taking up alternative habits to coping with stress, smoking is undoubtedly the most common method to relieving anxiety and stress for a short term.
3. Mental stimulation
You get mental advantages of smoking . Nicotine – contained in all cigarettes – has been proven to stimulate the release of dopa-mine, a chemical contained in the brain that releases euphoric bouts of pleasure. Smokers often combat stress with smoking and in turn increase levels of happiness and pleasure for a brief period of time before the chemical subsides.
4. Lower risk of death following a heart attack
A recent study showed that another benefit to smoking cigarettes is that, smokers appear to have a lower likelihood of death following a heart attack. Evidence also shows that smokers who do have heart attacks seem to have less dangerous heart attacks than non-smokers. Some studies have also shown that smokers respond more positively to post-heart attack treatment than non-smokers.
Of course, these studies are likely flawed because heart disease may be linked to the very act of smoking itself, but it’s a nice thought if you’re a smoker, isn't it?
5. Lower risk or impacts of mental illness
Evidence also shows that a significant amount of patients diagnosed with schizophrenia use tobacco as a way to self-medication. Smoking has also indirectly been shown to reduce the risk of mental illnesses such as Alzheimer and dementia.
6. Lowers risk of neurological disease
Prominent studies have shown smokers as less likely to suffer from neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s. Longer-term smokers, as it seems, appear to be virtually immune from contracting the disease, as opposed to short-term or non-smokers.
